GAME NOTES: I legit have no idea what is going on this season but the scoring is out of control. Like legit making these box scores take longer than ever to pump out. 40% of games so far this season have featured 9 or more goals. Please tone it down people…this game was expected to be a Pipe victory with a spread of 2.0 goals juiced at -250. They delivered in a big way with a four goal third period to win 8-3 and solidify their hold on 2nd place in the standings…Pete continues to take penalties every game. He’s going to have to shotgun on all future trips to the box, although that might just motivate him to take even more penalties now that I think about it.

GAME NOTES: The previews offered the highest over/under of the season at 8.0 and this game blew past it. Brown game totals are going to have to start at 9.5 goals or possibly even double digits…clearly the 8.0 total, even at the highest pregame line of the season, was not nearly enough but the game was listed as a toss-up and delivered in a back-and-forth affair that was tied with under 10 minutes left. But two goals by Neil and a shocking breakaway and self-rebound by Meehan that should give everyone on UPS nightmares delivered the GoldMembers their 2nd straight victory.

GAME NOTES: The previews predicted a red beatdown and that is pretty much what the people got. A 2.0 goal line was not quite enough as Red Floyd dominated this game en route to a 3-0 shutout win over the Pranksters and Sonj notched her 2nd shutout of the season. She’s now probably -145 over the field to become the first lady to ever win the GAA race. As I often say to anyone who will listen, which is very few people – it’s always Ladies Night here at D5.

GAME NOTES: Another wildly high scoring game and one in which yellow put forth by far their best effort of the season. But the defense still wasn’t quite there and instead of losing by 4, they lost by two. Progress. Line was GoldMembers -1.5 juiced to -255 and while bettors were sweating out a tie game with six minutes left, gold ultimately came through with three goals in the final six to win by two. Once again, the over/under was not set nearly high enough. Ugh.

GAME NOTES: Five games in and red looks like the team to beat as they move to 5-0 with a wildly impressive 19 goals for and only 3 against. Carter picked up another hat trick and is absolutely running train on the scoring race. Will the younger Weaver lead red to their first playoff win in over a calendar year come September or will his rumored absence sink their playoff hopes?
