GAME NOTES:
The first game for the post-trade, post-rebrand Crankin’ Hog was a rousing success as they put up a three goal 1st period en route to a 6-2 win over the MilkMob, whose new players also looked great post-trade (Luca French did put up a goal and an assist)…Nick finally showed up for a game and promptly buried two goals. He then proceeded to miss the Friday night. Easy come, easy go.

THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Luca French (1G, 1A)
2nd – Ryan Levine (2G)
1st – Nick (2G)

3rd Period:

CUP (5-0) – Lucas (3) (assisted by Mikey) (10:10)
RED (1-5) – Erik Cortez (2) (assisted by Tarnow) (13:31)

GAME NOTES:
This was originally listed as a 3.5 goal spread for red with a moneyline that couldn’t even be published because it would be so outrageous, but after some decisively shady line movement and requests for max bets, Vegas had to shut the line down and for good reason as, quite mysteriously, Kittridge and Oskar were declared last minute outs. On top of that, in a move that was either incredibly shady or cocky depending on your standpoint, red decided to take MVP frontrunner Campbell, who had given up 2 goals in 5 games, and put him out as a center. This iteration of red got absolutely smoked by the new-look Cup Size who rode a great performance by Sonj, two goals by new acquisition Lucas and a hat trick from LaPorte to a statement 5-1 win. That statement being that we might not be elite, but we are no longer historically bad either. Considering where they were a week earlier, they will gladly take it.

THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Sonj (W, 1 GA)
2nd – Lucas (2G, 1A)
1st – James LaPorte (3G)

Team Pie Pie vs The Blue Streakers

1st Period:
PIE (1-0) – Nicki (3) (assisted by Jacob) (9:06)
PIE (2-0) – Simon (3) (unassisted) (11:34)
2nd Period:
PIE (3-0) – Nicki (4) (assisted by Jacob) (0:34)
PIE (4-0) – Matt Bramson (4) (assisted by Simon) (5:30)
PIE (5-0) – Nicki (5) (assisted by Jacob) (8:47)
3rd Period:
PIE (6-0) – James Dziwura (4) (assisted by Matt Bramson) (6:57)
PIE (7-0) – Jacob (2) (assisted by Russo) (12:55)
BLU (1-7) – Jack (7) (assisted by David Nahon) (13:59)

GAME NOTES:
Orange rode the first hat trick of Nicki Dell’s career along with a sterling performance from Sophia between the pipes to a 7-1 blowout win that vaults them up to 2nd place in points per game in the standings, a strong rebound after last week’s upset loss to the Pizza Rats…Jacob Berkowitz had a career high four points in this one. Incredible value in the 7th round. GMs take note for next season…for some reason this game video was combined with the video for the next game, plus part of the game after that into one ridiculous 2 hour plus video amalgam of 2 and a half games. I would say I think our cameraman may have been high, but I actually know it for a fact.

THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Sophia (W, 1 GA)
2nd – Jacob Berkowitz (1G, 3A)
1st – Nicki Dell (3G)

Silver Stallions vs Mace Windu

1st Period:
SLV (1-0) – Dave Abada (2) (assisted by Mike Pigozzi) (2:23)
SLV (2-0) – Karly Russell (1) (assisted by Ken) (6:20)
2nd Period:
MACE (1-2) – Alex Merone (4) (assisted by Tom Fitz) (8:40)
3rd Period:
MACE (2-2) – Jason Reape (2) (assisted by Amanda Fazio) (3:16)
SLV (3-2) – Adam Herman (1) (assisted by Cherie) (6:55)
SLV (4-2) – Joe Moskowitz (1) (EN) (unassisted) (13:59)

GAME NOTES:
A rematch of a week one game where purple jumped out to a 3-0 lead before silver stormed back and came very close to tying it, this one was very different as silver jumped out to a 2-0 lead early in the 1st period. Purple came back to tie it early in the 3rd but the Stallions had the last laugh with an Adam Herman game winner and a Joe Moskowitz empty netter at the buzzer to notch a somewhat upset win over the favored 2nd place Mace Windu.

THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Alex Merone (1G)
2nd – Jacob Green (W, 2 GA)
1st – Adam Herman (GWG)

The Grassholes vs Pizza Rats

1st Period:
GRH (1-0) – Mitch (1) (unassisted) (5:00)
RAT (1-1) – Pete Slife (1) (assisted by Maddy) (7:00)
GRH (2-1) – Josh Wagner (2) (assisted by Ryann) (9:01)
GRH (3-1) – Dave Liang (1) (assisted by Andrew) (13:17)
2nd Period:
GRH (4-1) – Stern (5) (assisted by Jake) (1:58)
RAT (2-4) – Maddy (1) (assisted by Keith) (6:52)
3rd Period:
RAT (3-4) – Adam Satok (1) (assisted by Hicks) (11:37)
GRH (5-3) – Mitch (2) (unassisted) (11:58)
RAT (4-5) – Tom White (2) (assisted by Maddy) (13:05)

GAME NOTES:
A high scoring final game of the night as The Grassholes jumped out to a 4-1 lead two minutes into the 2nd and looked to be on cruise control, only for the generally low scoring Pizza Rats to mount a valiant comeback. In the final three minutes, they cut the deficit to one on two separate occasions but could not quite get that tying goal they needed. A very impressive effort despite some adversity, but not quite enough to overcome a full strength Grassholes squad. 5-4 green as they continue to stealthily creep up the standings, this time all the way up to 5th place. Pizza Rats may have lost but Maddy did get goal of the week honors and in the end, maybe that means more. After all, if there’s any captain who can appreciate a good highlight, it’s Hicks.

THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Stern (1G)
2nd – Maddy (1G, 2A)
1st – Mitch (2G)
