Bluebies (-1.5 Goals) (-145)
Merry Pranksters (+1.5 Goals) (EVEN)
Over 7.5 (-130)
Under 7.5 (-110)
Notes: The Pranksters finally have their big guns in for a game as Gelman will be joined by Danilo, Tom Fitz and Joel for the first time since the restart. Andreas and Steph will not be there but this is easily the best lineup they’ve had since October. Blue, on the other hand, has had insane attendance issues as of late. Since the restart Brita hasn’t played one game because she somehow has mono even though I was under the impression we all got that in college while Brad and Andrew have been traveling as well. Brad was supposed to play tonight but appears to have gotten sick and is now out as well. Pete was going to sub but had to drop because of work and now I’m not even sure if Corey is definitely in. I have no idea what is going to happen in this game but I’m still favoring the bluebies, who can basically clinch top two seeding with a regulation win. That said line is very much subject to move depending on last minute attendance considerations.
On Tuesdays We Wear Pink (-3.5 Goals) (-185)
Bada Bing (+3.5 Goals) (+135)
Over 8.0 (-120)
Under 8.0 (-120)
Notes: Pink has looked like a powerhouse in some games, utterly forgettable in others this season. I am betting on this being one of the former as their A lineup is in, they’re stacked and they have Jeff Green in net. Purple has definitely played harder since the trade but against one of the top teams, I don’t think it’ll be quite enough. Pink to take this down by multiple goals, Jo Robin to pick up minimum of 3 points.
Big Deke Energy (-2.0 Goals) (-220)
Bluebies (+2.0 Goals) (+150)
Over 7.5 (-130)
Under 7.5 (-110)
Notes: This line may surprise people but blue’s lineup continues to look insanely sparse while yellow has most of their top players in. Considering these teams went to OT last week when yellow didn’t have Joe and now he’s in (although Pelletier is a GTD), BDE has to be favored here and by a decent margin. Anything can happen with Sam and Phelps involved, but I have yellow winning this one fairly comfortably.
Big Deke Energy (-120)
Shooting Blancs (-120)
Over 7.5 (-135)
Under 7.5 (-105)
Notes: This is the likely game of the night as white, who has been a top team all season but slid a bit recently, takes on yellow who might be my darkhorse for the playoffs. On paper it seems like white clearly should have the edge but I can’t shake this feeling that the dekes will give them problems with their speed and depth. A very even matchup and if the Dekes had Mitch and Pelletier, I’d have them slightly ahead. Without them, I have this rated a true coin flip.
Red Eyes Peas (-2.0 Goals) (-110)
96th Street Bastards (+2.0 Goals) (-130)
Over 7.5 (-120)
Under 7.5 (-120)
Notes: Red is in first place and Jacob Green, as long as he doesn’t allow an insane amount of goals here, appears to be well on his way to his first career #1 goalie title. The Bastards have a strong lineup with no real weaknesses but they’ve struggled in recent games. This is a classic trap spot for the Peas as they look to clinch 1st place and a bye directly into the final four. I think they’ll take this one down but it wouldn’t surprise me if a motivated Bastards team gave them a scare. I don’t know if black can outright win, but I do see this game being closer than one would think from the looks of the standings. Black can still climb up to 5th but would need a lot of help; most likely they are locked into 6th or 7th. Speaking of which…
96th Street Bastards (-145)
Jewish Golden Calfs (EVEN)
Over 7.5 (-120)
Under 7.5 (-120)
Notes: I have so little idea who is in for these teams but this is a likely first round playoff preview as these will probably be your 6th and 7th ranked teams. In what order and with who having the advantage is still up in the air. The Bastards recently acquired Zisser but his first game was rough as they took a beating at the hands of the Blancs. The Calfs started the season strong but have had a tougher time as of late as they faced the tougher part of their schedule and haven’t had key players in for the past few games. I think the Calfs are an all-around stronger team but the Bastards are dangerous and Hicks has supposedly been ripping preworkout all morning. I have this as close to a dead heat depending very much on who the hell shows up. Tash will be coming in hot from MSG but the Calfs haven’t responded to my messages so idk what else they have tonight. Probably best to stay away from
