Week 3 Betting Lines (Fall 2025)

Purple Monkey Dishwasher (+1.5 Goals) (EVEN)
Rediohead (-1.5 Goals) (-145)
Over 5.0 Goals (-120)
Under 5.0 Goals (-120)

Notes:
Ah yes, a return to the old days of Campbell where game totals had to be in the 5 range (or sometimes lower) because he’s such a sicko. To be fair, scoring is down overall in the league this season. I assumed that the extra infusion of talent in the form of the tandems would raise league scoring but it seems to have had the opposite effect as teams have less combinations of players that can be exploited by top rounders. Still, for the remainder of the season, all red lines and totals are null and void if Campbell decides not to play in net for that game because these really are just Campbell lines. For the game itself…tough to get a good read on purple. They did score 9 goals in 2 games last night and scored an impressive win over a full strength A$$ team, but they also gave up six goals to a shorthanded Schvitz. If they give up more than 3 in this game, it’s a wrap. Give me red 3-1.

Rediohead (-2.0 Goals) (-170)
Return Of The Pie Pie (+2.0 Goals) (+125)
Over 5.5 Goals (EVEN)
Under 5.5 Goals (-145)

Notes:
Jo Robin is questionable for this one with a groin injury apparently sustained last weekend while Simon is a GTD due to golf and looking at apartments in Brooklyn. Both of these excuses are tough for the fat cat team as they now have to face a fresh and motivated Rediohead team with the best goalie in league history and possibly the best team name in their own history. There’s a chance that red is slightly tired on the backend of a back-to-back but my own statistical analysis of past season back-to-backs has shown no real difference in win % between teams on that second leg. And without that edge, and without their top two players in Jo Robin and James…orange still has a fighting chance with two elite dmen (albeit ones from Gen X) but it’s going to be really tough. I feel like this is basically my score prediction for every red game, but 3-1 it is.

Legally Blonde (+3.5 Goals) (+130)
I’m Schvitzing (-3.5 Goals) (-175)
Over 8.0 Goals (-120)
Under 8.0 Goals (-120)

Notes: This is without question likely to be the game of the night, and not just because it’s Yehuda vs the team he’s also on or it’s a team called schvitzing vs a guy who’s father is literally a rabbi. I’m expecting an all out offensive bonanza here between two teams that want to play fast and have the horses to do it. Before the draft I asked Joe what kind of team he wanted. He literally gave me one request: “fast forwards.” Well, that’s what he got as the combo of Neil, Kittredge and Reape is going to give opposing goalies nightmares while Jacob and Ian tastefully pot goals. Ian is out tonight so grey will have to find someone else to cherrypick all game, but otherwise they should have most of the team. Pink looked great last night in notching a 4-1 win over the Ducks, but without APK or Yehuda who I think is still injured from apparently trying to race a car, I give the slightest of leans to Schvitz (but not enough to actually bet them). Of course thay was written before I found out who else was missing for pink. Ouch. Spread is about right and even at 8 goals, the over is the play for me.

A$$ Fault Green (+2.0 Goals) (+120)
Return Of The Clap (-2.0 Goals) (-165)
Over 6.5 Goals (-120)
Under 6.5 Goals (-120)

Notes:
Tough to figure what to expect from the Return Of The Clap as Ryan might still be somewhat hurt while much of the team hasn’t played hockey in weeks. Meanwhile, A$$ Fault is already on game 4 of the season and has had some time to gel, although they only have one win to show for it. I do think that Clap has a solid edge here, particularly because Ryan is on it so green can’t use him, but Lucas has also looked solid in his appearances for Jake and it’s only a matter of time before he breaks through with a few goals. I’m definitely favoring the white leopard team. Their team name is the Return Of The Clap, and that return is tonight. Expect fireworks. And, from the sounds of it, possibly some sweet sweet lovin as well.
