Week 9 Box Scores (Summer 2025)

Silver Stallions vs The Pie Pie Strikes Back

2nd Period:
STA (1-0) – Jess (1) (assisted by Minsky) (3:28)
PIE (1-1) – James (7) (unassisted) (5:50)
3rd Period:

PIE (3-1) – James (8) (assisted by Sam Gelman) (3:30)
PIE (4-1) – Sam Gelman (9) (assisted by James) (9:40)

GAME NOTES:
Another strong effort by the Stallions as they keep this one 1-1 going into the 3rd period despite playing for a long stretch of the 1st period shorthanded. But the Gelman/James line just wouldn’t be denied in the 3rd period as they buried three goals to put this one away 4-1 and officially put themselves out of the 10/11 matchup

THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Jeff Green (W, 1 GA)
2nd – James (2G, 2A)
1st – Sam Gelman (2G, 1A)

Shootout Winner By James Pereira

GAME NOTES:
Just like pretty much every Slime Time game this season, this one came down to the wire, this one not just to the final minutes but into OT and a shootout. Green’s leading scorer and 1st round pick James Pereira came through with the only goal in the shootout as Max stopped every attempt by purple and green escaped with a 4-3 win, incredibly only their second of the season.

THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Alex Horton (1G)
2nd – Will (2G)
1st – James P (2G, SOW)

Purple Nurple vs Sex Education

2nd Period:
PRP (1-0) – Will (6) (assisted by Jo Robin) (4:00)
3rd Period:

SEX (1-1) – Carson (3) (unassisted) (2:00)
SEX (2-1) – Ryan Kumpfmiller (3) (assisted by Carson) (12:17)
SEX (3-1) – Chad (8) (unassisted) (13:02)

GAME NOTES:
Another hard fought and surprisingly bloody game that came down to the final minutes where a 2 on 0 for blue led to the game winner and a crazy bounce off the boards right to Chad in the slot sealed the game. Sex Education inches closer to clinching a trip to the final four while purple continues their late season slide with their fourth loss in five games.

THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Campbell (3 GA)
2nd – Carson (1G, 1A)
1st – Ryan Kumpfmiller (GWG)

Slime Time Live vs The Mighty Ducks

1st Period:
DUCK (1-0) – Adam Herman (4) (assisted by Sarah) (8:43)
STL (1-1) – Steve Rys (1) (assisted by Rob Meehan) (12:09)
STL (2-1) – James P (10) (assisted by Chris Fullam) (13:44)
2nd Period:
DUCK (2-2) – Jared Pollet (7) (assisted by Jason Reape) (6:38)
DUCK (3-2) – Adam Satok (6) (assisted by Sarah) (8:28)
3rd Period:

STL (3-3) – Steve Rys (2) (assisted by Rockoff) (10:31)
DUCK (4-3) – Simon (3) (PP) (assisted by Dave Zuck) (13:18)

GAME NOTES:
A classic Ducks game where they come back from a 2-1 deficit to take the lead in the 2nd, give up the game tying goal with 3:29 left and then somehow win in regulation with a power play snipe from Simon with 42 seconds left. The Ducks end their season with yet another last minute win to give them a league-leading 8 on the season, but since 4 of those game in OT/SO they only end up finishing in 5th place which is a feat I don’t think will ever be repeated.

THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Sarah (2A)
2nd – Steve Rys (2G)
1st – Simon (GWG)

Sex Education vs Mean Girls

1st Period:
SEX (1-0) – Chad (9) (assisted by Mikey) (1:08)
SEX (2-0) – Kate (4) (assisted by Alex) (2:45)
MEAN (1-2) – Brooke (2) (assisted by Yehuda) (3:26)
SEX (3-1) – Chad (10) (assisted by Dan) (8:52)
2nd Period:
SEX (4-1) – Mikey (5) (assisted by Carson) (1:14)
SEX (5-1) – Chad (11) (unassisted) (4:08)
SEX (6-1) – Carson (4) (assisted by Chad) (6:19)
3rd Period:

MEAN (2-6) – Brooke (3) (assisted by Yehuda) (10:17)
MEAN (3-6) – Chucky Perks (2) (unassisted) (11:31)
SEX (7-3) – Dan (1) (unassisted) (12:11)

GAME NOTES:
The final game of a night where all the games were close ends in a blowout as blue scores on the first two shifts of the game and never really lets up en route to a 7-3 win that clinches top two seeding. Chad leads the way with his 2nd or 3rd hat trick of the season while his buddy Dan, in town for a week of nonstop boozing, scores his first goal of his life as the rare Canadian who plays football. Yehuda did yell “weight room” at no less than four players on blue in this game, all of whom outmuscled him at some point shortly thereafter. Good stuff.

THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Brooke (2G)
2nd – Mikey (1G, 1A)
1st – Chad (3G, 1A)
