Week 6 Box Scores (Summer 2026)

Red Day vs Merry Pranksters

2nd Period:
PRK (1-0) – Sam Gelman (7) (unassisted) (13:43)
3rd Period:
PRK (2-0) – Sam Gelman (8) (assisted by Cherie) (3:33)
PRK (3-0) – Anthony (1) (assisted by Cherie) (4:34)

GAME NOTES:
Up until like half an hour before puck drop it looked like the Pranksters would have to play in this game without a goalie and the league sportsbook wasn’t even sure if it could offer a line on this game. Well, not only did they find a goalie to show up early but Carl pitched a shutout and Gelman added two more goals to his already stellar season as the Pranksters pick up one of the more surprising wins of the season with a 3-0 shutout of a previous red-hot red team. Wow.

THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Cherie (2A)
2nd – Sam Gelman (2G)
1st – Carl (W, SO)

GLAT (6-4) – Everett (7) (assisted by Glattman) (12:34)
GLAT (7-4) – Everett (8) (assisted by Glattman) (13:34)

GAME NOTES:
A predictably high scoring affair as Glatt’s gets a small measure of revenge for a 6-4 loss earlier this season with a 7-4 win of their own where they had to come back from a goal down with just six minutes left. From there they scored four straight and got themselves out of the league basement with a much needed victory on the strength of (what else is new) 11 combined points from Ev and Dan. Don’t let Glatt’s get hot. Just don’t do it please.

THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Luc (2G, 1A)
2nd – Glattman (2G, 3A)
1st – Everett (3G, 3A)

Shootout Winner by Max

GAME NOTES:
A back-and-forth game between the winners of the last four D5 cups ends with a two goal Glatt’s comeback in the final minutes of regulation to force OT where blue would just edge them out 1-0 to pick up an OT win, their second of the season. A possible playoff preview between two teams that are going to give someone an absolutely brutal first round playoff matchup in just a few weeks time.

THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Tyler (W, 4 GA)
2nd – Glattman (2G)
1st – Max (2G, SOW)

GAME NOTES:
Bobs took an early lead and looked to pick up their second win of the season against the only team they’ve beaten so far this year, but orange had other plans and scored 8 of the next 9 goals, finally breaking through offensively and notching their first victory of the season in blowout fashion. Meow.

THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Danny Swersky (2G)
2nd – Rory (2G, 1A)
1st – Chris (2G, 2A)

DOUG (17-3) – Hootie (5) (assisted by Matt Bramson)
DOUG (18-3) – Hootie (6) (assisted by Matt Bramson)

GAME NOTES:
Timestamps are missing for this one because it was a late game and the biggest offensive explosion in league history as camo scored early, often and never took their foot off the gas (even when up 13 goals with less than five minutes left). It’s a game that will live on in the record books as Lucas scores six goals, Brooke and Ken add six points each and Doug Fish sets a league record with 18 goals scored en route to a shocking 18-3 win over a shorthanded yellow team.

THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Brooke (3G, 3A)
2nd – Lucas (6G, 1A)
1st – Ken (4G, 4A)
