GAME NOTES:
A rematch from Week 8 when the Reds pulled out a 2-1 OT victory on the back of timely scoring and an incredible Campbell performance. With bettors all putting their money on yet another super low scoring game, this one shockingly featured four goals in the first four minutes before both teams tightened up. Red had the better of play throughout the 3rd as they pushed for the tying goal, led by multipoint efforts from Carter, Oskar and Nate, but blue was able to hang on and gut out a 4-3 win to send them to the championship game.

GAME NOTES:
An incredible run to the final four by maroon as a 7 seed but without top pick and co-captain Ryan, it was a bridge too far for Hog. Two goals in 22 seconds early in the 2nd period blew the game open for Pie Pie and a Berkowitz hat trick would seal the deal. 7-2 orange as they punch their ticket to the finals in a glorious debut season.

GAME NOTES:
With rookie sensation goaltender Sophia on a red-eye to Germany, Jo Robin got the call in net to relive his glory days of youth playing between the pipes. He put up a heroic effort in this one with a number of big time saves but the loss of him as a top line center scoring threat was felt for Pie Pie. A tighter game than the scoreline would indicate, mostly due to two late empty netters, but two early goals by Cardello and a backbreaker by Chad with under a minute left in the 2nd right after orange had gotten on the board were enough to put the Blue Streakers over the top. A 6-2 win sends Jack and Annie off into the sunset with a storybook ending to two of the top 5 D5 careers we’ve ever had. Happy trails but also I’ll see you in the craps pit next week.
