GAME NOTES:
Friday night games often get weird and this one was no exception. A 7.5 goal over/under was the highest of the season but even that wasn’t nearly enough as the teams pumped in 13 combined goals, but orange gets the better of it in opening up a 9-2 lead midway through the 3rd period before a few late Minsky goals added some window dressing for silver and pumped up his and Jacob’s stats a bit. Still, it was a strong bounce-back win for orange as they head into a bye week before the stretch run and play perhaps their final game of the season with rookie backup goalie Ryan Levine.

GAME NOTES:
This was a very tough game to handicap after purple was the public favorite but red beat down two of the top teams the previous evening by a combined score of 10-3. The D5 sportsbook even cautioned prospective gamblers that this was a stay away special. And sure enough, it came right down to the wire with a somewhat surprise result as red was able to hold on yet again for a 3rd straight upset victory that officially launches them out of any play-in danger and straight into the race for top four seeding. In D5 your fortunes can change just that quickly. 3-2 Reds N’ Roses with a shoutout to the league’s lead cameraman Pete Slife for the game winner.

GAME NOTES:
A supreme effort by pink’s taxi squad as, missing a ton of important players including 1st rounder Emma and early rounders like Joel, Jeff Campbell and Brooke but featuring a motley crew of subs, they led this one late in the 2nd and kept the score tight throughout. But some timely scoring / sex lessons from the educators in blue were too much for Yehuda George & Co. A very hard fought, very impressive effort by Mean Girls and a cover for spread bettors, but a 3-1 win for Sex Education.

Another valiant effort by Mean Girls against another top team but it just wasn’t quite enough as they couldn’t bury a single goal past APK. Fertilizin’ Eggs played sterling defense and received timely scoring from Jenn’s Bartender and Jacob, then a late insurance goal by Pete sealed the deal as he so often does on these Friday nights. 3-0 Egg as they take firm control of 1st place in the standings.
