Weeks 3 & 4 Box Scores (Spring 2026)

The Phantom Pie Pie vs Glazin’ Donuts

1st Period:
PIE (1-0) – Craig (2) (EN) (assisted by James D) (0:08)
PIE (2-0) – Chris (1) (EN) (assisted by Andrew) (1:51)
PIE (3-0) – Dan Schwartman (1) (assisted by James D) (6:43)
2nd Period:
GLAZ (1-3) – Harry (1) (assisted by Ryan) (7:32)
3rd Period:
PIE (4-1) – Craig (3) (EN) (assisted by Campbell) (13:17)

GAME NOTES:
Orange continues their hot early season run with a 4-1 win over silver although to be fair silver had to start the game without a goalie. Considering the game ended 4-1 with three empty netters it’s certainly fair to wonder how this one could go differently if these teams meet again in the playoffs. Will be fascinating to watch but for now, orange escapes with a 4-1 win and remains undefeated on the season.

THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – James D (2A)
2nd – Craig (2G, both empty net though)
1st – Will (W, 1 GA)

Merry Pranksters vs Bruise Control

1st Period:
PRK (1-0) – Dave GDR (1) (unassisted) (7:54)
2nd Period:
BRC (1-1) – Sean Kittredge (2) (assisted by Mason) (5:57)
PRK (2-1) – Maddy (1) (assisted by Adam Satok) (6:40)
PRK (3-1) – Ryann (1) (assisted by Rani) (11:21)
3rd Period:
BRC (2-3) – Matt Bramson (2) (assisted by Sean Kittredge) (4:26)
PRK (4-2) – Sam Gelman (1) (EN) (unassisted) (12:48)

GAME NOTES:
Dave GDR almost picks up his own type of Gordie Howe hat trick with a goal and a penalty…if he had to jump in net late and made a save, it would have been historic. As it is though, the Pranksters kick off their season with an impressive 4-2 win over purple.

THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Sean Kittredge (1G, 1A)
2nd – Max (W, 2 GA)
1st – Dave GDR (1G)

Baja Blast vs Sex Ed

1st Period:
SEX (1-0) – Maulik (1) (assisted by Brooke) (7:16)
2nd Period:
SEX (2-0) – Maulik (2) (unassisted) (1:17)
BAJA (1-2) – Minsky (1) (unassisted) (4:19)
BAJA (2-2) – Neil (2) (assisted by Alex Horton) (8:29)
3rd Period:
SEX (3-2) – Jacob Linder (1) (assisted by Ryan Kumpfmiller) (1:55)

GAME NOTES:
Green comes out with everything they’ve got and honestly puts in an extremely solid effort as 3 goal underdogs, tying the game at 2 going into the 2nd intermission. But a late goal by rookie Jacob Linder, playing his first career D5 game, and a flurry of blocked shots in the final minutes seal a very tight win for Sex Ed.

THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Neil (1G)
2nd – Jacob Linder (GWG)
1st – Maulik (2G)

Hockey at Glatt’s vs Merry Pranksters

1st Period:
PRK (1-0) – Maddy (2) (assisted by Sam Gelman) (0:33)
PRK (2-0) – Sam Gelman (2) (assisted by Nick) (6:03)
2nd Period:
GLAT (1-2) – Everett (4) (assisted by Glattman) (1:32)
GLAT (2-2) – Mike Sanchick (1) (assisted by Ryann) (3:57)
GLAT (3-2) – Everett (5) (PP) (assisted by Ryann) (7:56)
GLAT (4-2) – Glattman (4) (PP) (assisted by Everett) (13:11)
3rd Period:
PRK (3-4) – Sam Gelman (3) (assisted by Sheila) (5:15)
GLAT (5-3) – Glattman (5) (assisted by Everett) (5:59)
GLAT (6-3) – Mike Sanchick (2) (EN) (unassisted) (11:20)

GAME NOTES:
The Pranksters put up a valiant effort against the defending champs, leading 2-0 after the 1st period but come up just short after Glatt’s opens the floodgates with a four goal 3rd period. Gelman continues his resurgence with three points against one of the league’s top teams but the Pranksters just run out of gas a bit on the back-end of a doubleheader. 6-3 Glatt’s as they remain undefeated to start the spring.

THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Sam Gelman (2G, 1A)
2nd – Glattman (2G)
1st – Everett (2G, 2A)

Pinky Toe vs Merry Pranksters

1st Period:
PRK (1-0) – Tarnow (1) (assisted by Shane) (5:56)
PINK (1-1) – Good Yehuda (1) (assisted by Alex Merkin) (7:40)
PINK (2-1) – GG (1) (assisted by Bad Yehuda) (9:03)
PINK (3-1) – Emma (1) (assisted by Matt Reape) (11:23)
2nd Period:
PRK (2-3) – Alan (1) (assisted by Maddy) (4:47)
3rd Period:
PRK (3-3) – Shane (1) (assisted by Sam Gelman) (9:21)
PRK (4-3) – Tarnow (2) (assisted by Sam Gelman) (13:37)

GAME NOTES:
A weird game played on a fairly wet court sees pink jump out to a 3-1 lead in a high scoring 1st period that made me wonder if I set all the lines too low for this Friday. After that, every single game went under even though the Pranksters would storm back and win the game on a Tarnow goal with 23 seconds left. I’d say cry me a river but the court was already wet enough. 4-3 tie dye.

THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Shane (1G, 1A)
2nd – Sam Gelman (2A)
1st – Tarnow (2G)

Street Meat vs Merry Pranksters

1st Period:
PRK (1-0) – Sam Gelman (4) (assisted by Adam Herman) (3:35)
2nd Period:
MEAT (1-1) – Sam Schulman (2) (assisted by James LaPorte) (6:16)
PRK (2-1) – Maddy (3) (assisted by Sam Gelman) (9:50)
3rd Period:
MEAT (2-2) – James LaPorte (3) (assisted by Ryan) (2:18)
MEAT (3-2) – Ken (2) (assisted by James LaPorte) (10:06)

GAME NOTES:
Tie dye led this one 1-0 and 2-1 but much like their game against Glatt’s they seemed to run out of steam in the 3rd period. Like the previous game (and honestly every game on this night), could have gone either way but this one went the way of the meat. 3-2 for the savages.

THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Sam Gelman (1G, 1A)
2nd – Ken (GWG)
1st – James LaPorte (1G, 2A)

The Phantom Pie Pie vs The MilkMob

1st Period:
PIE (1-0) – Craig (6) (PP) (assisted by Danilo) (6:41)
2nd Period:
MILK (1-1) – The Milkman (2) (assisted by Mike Cremers) (2:06)
PIE (2-1) – Danilo (1) (assisted by James D) (12:14)
3rd Period:
PIE (3-1) – Alex Horton (1) (assisted by Craig) (0:50)
MILK (2-3) – Jordan (1) (assisted by Gates) (3:04)

GAME NOTES:
An incredible effort by a badly shorthanded MilkMob squad as they kept this one close despite missing their top two draft picks and being installed as three goal underdogs. But Will’s comeback player of the year bid continues and even though Brooke was out, her replacement Alex Horton notched the game winner early in the 3rd period. 3-2 Pie Pie as they maintain their hold on 1st place in the standings.

THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Craig (1G, 1A)
2nd – Will (W, 1 GA)
1st – Alex Horton (GWG)

Street Meat vs The UMass Football Team

3rd Period:
MASS (1-0) – Jo Robin (1) (assisted by Joe Magosin) (1:10)
MASS (2-0) – Source (1) (assisted by Joe Magosin) (11:07)

GAME NOTES:
AJ was the first goalie drafted in this season’s draft and in this game, he reminded everyone why with a sterling effort in shutting out a loaded Street Meat offense. Lots of chances on both sides, even with the court somewhat nerfed by moisture, but it’s the lowest scoring game of the season which I sincerely thank everyone for as it makes these box scores 1000x easier to complete than when every game is a 7-5 goalfest. UMass picks up their first win with a 2-0 victory. Perhaps more importantly, Source takes a 1-0 lead over Hicks in the scoring race.

THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Jo Robin (GWG)
2nd – Joe Magosin (2A)
1st – AJ (W, SO)

The MilkMob vs Baja Blast

1st Period:
BAJA (1-0) – Minsky (2) (unassisted) (12:09)
2nd Period:
MILK (1-1) – Jacob Popeck (1) (assisted by Julie) (6:11)
MILK (2-1) – Becca (1) (assisted by Tom White) (11:09)
BAJA (2-2) – Minsky (3) (unassisted) (13:22)
Overtime:
BAJA (3-2) – Jacob Berkowitz (2) (unassisted) (4:50)

GAME NOTES:
The final game of the night is an evenly matched, back-and-forth affair between two teams desperate for a win and playing tough, playoff-style hockey. Fittingly, it came down to the final seconds of OT where the teams traded odd-man rushes before Jacob was able to convert a breakway with just seconds left on the clock to give Baja their first win of the season. Thank god too because I really did not want to call a penalty shot on that play, but would have had no choice had he not scored.

THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Will (W, 2 GA)
2nd – Minsky (2G)
1st – Jacob Berkowitz (GWG)
