Week 1 Betting Lines (Fall 2026)

Revenge of the Pie Pie (-1.5 Goals) (-120)
Cookie Monsters (+1.5 Goals) (-120)
Over 7.5 Goals (-120)
Under 7.5 Goals (-120)

Notes:
After a week off in which it barely rained, we are once again on weather watch. Truly incredible that the rain basically goes off of this league’s scheduling, 10/10 troll by god no notes. Assuming this game happens I think orange simply has to be favored. Craig and James were a formidable tandem in the spring when they helped lead this team to a 10-0 record and the supporting cast of Jefferies aficionados is really very solid. Purple is generally a fairly high floor roster but their regular season finishes haven’t really been a great as you might think. Unless Carl goes nuts in this game (which is always a possibility), I think orange wins their season opener.

Sexcellence (-2.0 Goals) (-120)
The Dolly Pranksters (+2.0 Goals) (-120)

Over 7.5 Goals (-120)
Under 7.5 Goals (-120)

Notes:
The biggest variable in this matchup is that tie dye is using Jacob Berkowitz in goal who I’ve never seen play but have been told is actually quite good. I’d have to assume he’s not quite as good as Jeff Green, one of the most accomplished goalies in this history of this league, but I suppose you never know. The Pranksters are coming off by far the best two season run in franchise history with two straight 3rd place regular season finishes and their first championship appearance in the summer. But against a mostly full strength blue squad with championship aspirations, I don’t quite think it will be enough. 5-2 Sexcellence. What a name.

Sexcellence (-2.0 Goals) (-145)
Cookie Monsters (+2.0 Goals) (EVEN)
Over 7.0 Goals (-120)
Under 7.0 Goals (-120)

Notes:
Not altogether different projection-wise from the game before all things considered except for the fact that a) Carl is presumably better than Jacob in net, b) both teams are playing their 2nd game of the night (generally overrated factor imo) and c) have tie dye rated as a slightly better team. Of course I’m too tired to ask either squad what their roster looks like so maybe purple’s gameday roster is stronger than what the Pranksters are rolling out but I think possibly slightly weaker. Give me Sexcellence by a score of 5-2 again. In an effort to not give Carl bulletin board material however I should specify that 2-3 of blue’s goals were empty netters.

The Dolly Pranksters (+150)
Red Bunny (-230)
Over 6.5 Goals (EVEN)
Under 6.5 Goals (-145)

Notes:
This game was half cancelled at one point this weekend before it turned out that the only person who really wanted to cancel it was Nate because he’s in Europe trying to copy Campbell’s lifestyle. So it’s back on and while Nate won’t be here, I don’t know how much it will really matter with most of red’s players in, including Campbell returning in net. Gelman’s a threat to score a few quick ones in pretty much any game he plays but Campbell’s also an analytics guy by profession and likely knows exactly that. 4-1 Red Bunny.

The Golden Gods (-120)
Pinky Promise (-120)

Over 7.5 Goals (-120)
Under 7.5 Goals (-120)

Notes:
The final game of the evening. Who knows if it will even be played. I really hope it is though because the chance to see Ryan play against Pete and Tommy would be worth the price of admission alone, particularly when the cost of a ticket to the 96th street bleachers is approximately $0. I have these teams rated as a coinflip along with the odds of this game happening tonight at all. Hopefully it does. If not maybe Cam was right and this name was actually offensive to god (although it should be noted the name he was pushing, Yellow Fever, is almost definitely more offensive).
