RED (5-2) – Maeve (1) (EN) (assisted by JLP) (12:15)
GAME NOTES:
A sneaky big game between two teams struggling to escape the league’s basement. But like so many horror movies around this spooky time of year, not everyone gets to escape the basement and lots of people seem to die in those basements. Quality metaphor. And so it goes that red wins this game despite giving up the opening goal, but remains in a play-in slot at the time of this writing while pink would go on to overhaul the roster and is hanging onto their current 8th place rank. Hanging on like someone in a basement. Very spooky.
THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Brooke (1G)
2nd – JLP (3A)

3rd Period:
SGT (1-1) – Jacob (1) (assisted by Sean) (0:55)
BGRN (2-1) – Mike Tigri (2) (assisted by Shua) (5:17)
SGT (2-2) – Bramson (3) (PP) (assisted by Sean) (7:31)
BGRN (3-2) – Emma (6) (assisted by Shua) (12:09)
GAME NOTES:
A potential playoff preview between two of the top teams who thankfully, for this season at least, have very different looking jerseys. Green led 1-0 for the entire 2nd period but it was pretty obvious to pretty much everyone who watched this game and who follows these teams (D5 Twitter is lit) that there was no way this game was ending 1-0. And sure enough, camo came from behind twice to tie it up in the 3rd period before green would win it with under two minutes left thanks to Emma, as is often the case. 3-2 Big Green in a massive statement game from a no doubt championship contender.
THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Sean (2A)
2nd – Shua (1G, 1A)
1st – Emma (GWG)

PIE (6-3) – Chris (6) (assisted by Francis) (11:29)
GOLD (4-6) – Barrett (1) (assisted by Eli) (12:50)
GAME NOTES:
A surprisingly high scoring game as once again yellow comes agonizingly close but comes up just short in the end. Strong season debuts for both Barrett and Ryan as they would each notch a goal and an assist but orange continues their climb up the standings and into top four playoff positioning with a 6-4 win.
THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Ryan (1G, 1A)
2nd – Craig (2G)
1st – Gianfranco (GWG)
Revenge of the Pie Pie vs Sgt. Siwash
1st Period:
SGT (1-0) – Sean (2) (assisted by Hootie) (8:35)
3rd Period:
SGT (2-0) – Lucas (5) (unassisted) (8:11)
PIE (1-2) – James (2) (assisted by Rory) (13:00)
SGT (3-1) – Bramson (4) (EN) (unassisted) (13:53)
GAME NOTES:
The first of two games in two weeks between two of the top teams in the standings in the penultimate game of week 7. And just as they did for much of the summer season it was camo finding a way, surviving a late orange push that saw them get within a goal with just a minute left on a point shot from James. A late empty netter by Bramson would seal the win for Siwash, vaulting them within striking distance of top five seeding heading into the final weeks of the 2026 campaign.
THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – James (1G)
2nd – Doug (W, 1 GA)
1st – Lucas (GWG)

GAME NOTES:
After a season full of near-misses and razor-thin losses, yellow finally breaks through for their first win of the season with just 13 seconds left in OT. Absolute pandemonium for the squad although leadership would respond by immediately blowing up the team and shipping Ryan, Cam & Metz out west. Life comes at you fast.
THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Ryan (1G, 1A)
2nd – Bobby (GWG)
1st – Jo (2G, 1A)
