Championship Week Lines (Fall 2026)

The Golden Gods (-120)
Sexcellence (-120)
Over 6.0 (+135)
Under 6.0 (-200)

Notes:
This game was supposed to take place as the capper of week one of the playoffs but due to an insane amount of OTs, penalties, general delays, that game would have started around midnight which would have been brutal for permits and also brutal for anyone who had to be in an office Wednesday morning. As such, it’s now the opening game of championship week and projects to be an extremely low scoring affair. Blue was tied for the 2nd best goals against in the league this season (just one goal behind first place green) while yellow has been a different squad since the trade that brought in Tyler, Spreckles and Mitch. Tyler in particular put in what might be a career performance against the heavily favored Bruger King in shutting them out, although it did cost Bobby a testicle. Public perception in this one is as crazy as we’ve ever seen.

Not a single person in the entire league chose yellow to get to the final four but make no mistake, this game is pretty much a coinflip. The Tyler/Sophia goaltending battle will be one to watch as will my tears in playing against this season’s no doubt Cinderella story. No 11th seed has ever made the final four, although last season’s yellow team was 10th and made it to this exact stage before barely losing their 4th game against tie dye. This team isn’t as strong on paper but it’s deeper and mentally tougher. In a true playoff atmosphere (because it is the playoffs, duh) I’m taking the under.

Cookie Monsters (+1.0 Goals) (+135)
The Big Green (-1.0 Goals) (-200)

Over 6.0 (-120)
Under 6.0 (-120)

Notes:
On paper, it’s a mismatch. Green went basically wire-to-wire as the #1 seed en route to an 8-2 record. Purple was steady in the middle of the standings all season but took advantage of a favorable draw and some extremely favorable calls that might possibly lead to offseason rule changes to win three on Tuesday and draw into the final four. Predictably, just like with the above game, pretty much no one saw this coming.

Only three of 41 responses picked purple to make the final four. All three of them were on purple. Meanwhile green picked up a robust 25 votes. They’ve definitely earned their favorite status but as I read in pretty much every version of the power rankings – with Carl in net, anything is possible. The Cookie Monsters were opportunistic last week, winning each game by one goal and eking out an extremely controversial win over the 4th seeded Chocolate MilkMob. This game is going to be a very different beast. I think they’re far more live than most of you probably do, but still have to go with green to continue their winning ways and go to the finals for the first time since 2024.

GOLD/SEX (+115)
Sgt. Siwash (-160)
Over 6.5 (-120)
Under 6.5 (-120)

Siwash didn’t play yellow this season but even if they did it wouldn’t have really mattered as this is a very different yellow team post-trade and now riding the momentum of three straight playoff wins. They did play blue once in a weird game that Sexcellence led 3-0 in the final three minutes before giving up three goals to set up OT, where they won anyways. Either game is likely to be very close, although camo does play a more wide-open style than either of these teams. Public, as usual, goes chalk.

Camo does go into these playoffs having won five games in a row and with a ton of momentum. Their only losses on the season were to green (#1 seed), blue (#3 seed) and silver (always seems to get them in a shootout). Lucas is following up a career season with more of the same and Doug is proving that last season’s breakout was no fluke. Tough to tell which way this one goes as this could easily be the game of the night. No pick from me.

The Big Green (+160)
Sgt. Siwash (+160)
Sexcellence (+360)
Cookie Monsters (+430)
The Golden Gods (+430)

Public is somewhat split but does go in seed order for the top three, as is tradition. Only one person picked purple and no one picked yellow but at this point, every team is live and there’s history on the line for everyone. For yellow or purple it would be the culmination of a cinderella run for the ages for either team. For blue it would extend the franchise’s record to six cups. For camo, they would incredibly become the third consecutive team to win two cups in a row after blue won Spring & Summer 2025 and then Glatt’s won Fall 2025/Spring 2026. Meanwhile, much like that Spring 2025 cup did for Jack & Annie, green looks to write the ultimate final chapter for longtime captain Jake who is off to Long Island after this season and possibly for Mo although I suspect he’ll still be here in 2027. In a season with more parity than we’ve seen in a long time, it’s truly anyone’s guess who lifts the trophy at the end of the night. See ya @ Dorrian’s.
