GAME NOTES: Green came into this game with a solid roster and a strong gameplan to take down a 1st place purple squad. Unfortunately, despite a strong season debut by their goalie Eli, green was foiled by an even stronger relief effort from Jacob in net as he only allowed two goals and allowed Jack’s 3rd period goal to stand up as the winner. Still think green is the best last place team I’ve seen since at least 2019 but it’s been a difficult season. O Probert where art thou? The answer, sadly, is mowing his lawn in the suburbs of NJ.
THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Jacob Green (W, 1 GA)
2nd – Miles (1G, 1A)
1st – Jack (2G)

GAME NOTES: This game unexpectedly morphed into one of the highest scoring games of all time as MelRose scored four goals in the first period and the teams combined for 13 altogether. In the end Miles’ hat trick wasn’t enough for purple as Reape put up a hatty of his own (including one on the strangest 2 on 0 you’ll ever see) to give MelRose an electric 7-6 victory.

2nd – Miles (3G)

GAME NOTES: A rare evening when a goalie can give up four goals and still be recognized as one of the stars of the game. Corey made a ton of monster saves in this one to keep red in the game but in the end pink’s offensive onslaught was too much to handle as they pocketed two 3rd period goals to seal the victory and (temporarily) move into 1st place in the standings.
THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Corey (4 GA)
2nd – Jeff Green (W, 1 GA)
1st – Greg Davis (GWG)
