GAME NOTES:
A showdown between the current two bottom teams in the standings yields a surprising 1.5 goal spread in the betting lines and an even more surprising four goal lead for pink after two. The Stallions would cut the deficit to two multiple times but could get no closer than that and in the end it’s a huge win for Mean Girls to give them a chance to move out of the play-in and a huge cover for pink -1.5 bettors who made the incredibly brave choice to bet on a Yehuda team with a multi-goal spread…after starting the season scoreless with no goals in her first game Emma bounces back in her second one with a four goal effort that immediately vaults her into the top three in ladies scoring. Even with her missing half the season and playing on a possible play-in team, she’s around -500 to take the ladies scoring crown.
THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Jacob Berkowitz (2G, 1A)
2nd – Nolan (2G)
1st – Emma (4G)

2nd Period:
DUCK (2-1) – Dave Zuckerman (3) (assisted by Yaakov) (0:31)
DUCK (3-1) – Sarah (5) (assisted by Jared) (10:10)
EGG (2-3) – Ryan (9) (PP) (assisted by Becca) (13:27)

EGG (3-4) – Ryan (10) (assisted by Eli) (7:58)
EGG (4-4) – Ryan (11) (assisted by Keith) (9:11)
Overtime:
DUCK (5-4) – Adam Satok (4) (assisted by Amanda) (1:39)
GAME NOTES:
These teams met last week and the result was a 7-6 OT win for the Ducks. This game played out pretty much the same with a bunch of goals for both teams, a hat trick for Ryan and an OT winner for Satok assisted by Amanda. If these teams meet in the playoffs, hammer that Ducks ML/over 7.0 goals/Levine 3+ goals/Satok game winner line accordingly.
THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Satok (GWG)
2nd – Sarah (1G, 1A)
1st – Ryan (3G)
Sex Education vs Reds N’ Roses
1st Period:
SEX (1-0) – Chad (4) (assisted by Bobby) (6:39)
RNR (1-1) – Kevin Tuohy (5) (PP) (assisted by Doug) (9:02)
SEX (2-1) – Carson (1) (assisted by Chad) (13:44)
2nd Period:
SEX (3-1) – Carson (2) (assisted by Chad) (9:40)
3rd Period:
SEX (4-1) – Chad (5) (assisted by Bobby) (2:16)
SEX (5-1) – Len (1) (assisted by Dave Abada) (3:58)
RNR (2-5) – Craig (2) (assisted by Kevin Tuohy) (11:28)
SEX (6-2) – Mike Cremers (1) (assisted by Chad) (13:39)
GAME NOTES:
Red came into this game red hot (nice) after wins over the Ducks, Egg and purple in consecutive games. But two goals each from Chad and Carson plus a backbreaker from Len give Sex Ed a 5-2 win and keep blue in the hunt for the top spot in the standings with just a week or so left in the season…Doug continues to score at what might be the most prolific rate for a last rounder in the history of this league. Absolutely incredible stuff as he’s now getting power play time and, even in a losing effort, picking up points.
THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Kevin (1G, 1A)
2nd – Carson (2G)
1st – Chad (2G, 2A)
My Cup Size Is Stanley vs The Mighty Ducks
2nd Period:
CUP (1-0) – Lucas (1) (unassisted) (7:48)
3rd Period:
CUP (2-0) – Hogg (4) (unassisted) (2:01)
CUP (3-0) – Jenna (1) (assisted by James LaPorte) (8:56)
GAME NOTES:
The Ducks came into this game as a slight favorite and I still think they’re an overall better team than Cup Size but on this night, they did not have enough left in the tank after a hard fought OT win over yellow. Carl notches his first career shutout and timely goals by Lucas (incredibly his first of the season), Hogg and Jenna lead to a 3-0 win for black. Also cashes the first leg of Nate’s parlay with only MilkMob -2.0 left to go.
THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Jenna (1G)
2nd – Lucas (GWG)
1st – Carl (W, SO)

MILK (1-1) – Jordan (2) (assisted by The Milkman) (9:01)
2nd Period:
STL (2-1) – James P (2) (assisted by Jake Kolenberg) (3:12)
STL (3-1) – James P (3) (assisted by Mike Wright) (4:40)
3rd Period:
MILK (2-3) – Kyle (1) (assisted by Jordan) (7:27)
STL (4-2) – Shaun (1) (assisted by Rockoff) (10:38)
MILK (3-4) – Alex Merone (2) (PP) (unassisted) (12:16)
MILK (4-4) – The Milkman (6) (assisted by Alex Merone) (13:22)
Overtime:
STL (5-4) – Chris Fullam (1) (assisted by James P) (4:38)
GAME NOTES:
Sorry Nate but while this one may have looked easy on paper, I continue to believe this green team is way better than their 10th place standings/power rankings position would indicate. Slime Time pretty much led this game the entire way and looked to be cruising to a regulation win before a furious Milk rally with under two minutes left yielded goals by Merone and the Milkman to tie it up and send the game to OT. But a Chris Fullam bank-in from behind the net was like the Slime whistle in Figure It Out, bringing the fans out of their seats and giving green their first win of the season and over one of the top teams in the league to boot. 5-4 Slime as Fullam gives Slime Time life in the standings but brings death to Nate’s parlay. Love to see it.
THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Chris Fullam (GWG)
2nd – The MilkMan (1G, 1A)
1st – James P (3G)
Purple Nurple vs The MilkMob
2nd Period:
PRP (1-0) – Caleb (5) (assisted by Jo Robin) (0:43)
MILK (1-1) – The Milkman (7) (assisted by Hicks) (3:16)
PRP (2-1) – Jo Robin (2) (assisted by Karly) (9:41)
3rd Period:
MILK (2-2) – Nick (2) (assisted by Alex Merone) (4:27)
MILK (3-2) – Hicks (6) (assisted by Spreckles) (6:45)
MILK (4-2) – Hicks (7) (assisted by Jordan) (11:36)
MILK (5-2) – Nick (3) (unassisted) (11:54)
GAME NOTES:
White looked fairly exhausted for the first two periods of this game and after Jo gave purple a 2-1 win, it looked like they might be straight up dead. But if you thought they’d just lay down like a cow that had been tipped by some drunken teenagers in Wisconsin, you don’t know the Mob. Four straight goals in the third period brought the cowbells out from the bench and sent the MilkMob to the bar where they would stay til like 2 AM. Pretty impressive stuff for a Tuesday night (the comeback and the hard boozing alike) as the Mob takes down a 5-2 win and continues their late season ascent up the standings.
THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Corey (W, 1 GA)
2nd – Nick (2G)
1st – Hicks (2G, 1A)
