Week 8 Betting Lines (Spring 2026)

Merry Pranksters (-2.5 Goals) (-120)
Baja Blast (+2.5 Goals) (-120)
Over 9.0 Goals (-110)
Under 9.0 Goals (-130)

Notes:
These teams met two weeks ago and the result was the second highest scoring game of the season, an absurd 8-5 win for the Pranksters where they scored three goals before I could even set up a camera and didn’t let up on the offense for pretty much the entire game. They did give up a late comeback bid to Baja which got the score close but in the end it came up just short as tie dye put up a pair of empty netters. In general they have an argument as one of the elite teams in the league, currently sitting at 4th in the standings with their only losses being to Glatts and Street Meat in games where they led in the 2nd period. Tonight they do have some notable absences with Klein, Shane, Rani and both of their ladies out of action tonight. But on the other hand Baja still doesn’t have a goalie at the time of publication and I have no idea who theyre going to have. Likely Cam if he reads Jake’s text or this writeup in time; otherwise, no idea (EDIT: CAM IS IN). Considering he was in for the aforementioned 8-5 game I don’t see much reason why this one would be different. I’ve got Pranksters to kick off this week’s Cinco de Mayo with a slightly lower scoring 7-4 win.

Street Meat (-120)
Bruise Control
(-120)
Over 7.5 Goals (-120)
Under 7.5 Goals (-120)

Notes:
Purple won’t have Kyle, Rose or Milstein in for this siesta while Street Meat continues to play this season without Ariel. Levine might be injured as well so Pete gets the call for Street Meat but otherwise its a mostly full lineup for yellow and honestly a toss-up game. These teams played each other a week and a half ago and Bruise Control came back from a 2-1 deficit to take a 5-2 decision in the late game on a Friday night. It’s a total contrast in styles between pure defense and total firepower, even without Ariel. Without Rose and Milstein, though, that defense does take a major hit. I have this game rated as a total coinflip. Buyer beware.

Sex Ed (-2.0 Goals) (-120)
The MilkMob (+2.0 Goals) (-120)

Over 7.5 Goals (EVEN)
Under 7.5 Goals (-145)

Notes:
Just like the two previous matchups, this is another rematch, this one from the first week of the season when these teams met on a Thursday night and blue won their season opener 4-1. Caleb and Sonj were out for that one though while they should be in tonight and honestly having both of them in made a huge difference for the Mob in their 3-2 win over Red last week. I’m not sure what the rest of the lineup looks like but I do expect this one to be closer than the public might think, especially considering the amount of yelling that Joe was doing over the weekend about tonight’s games. With Sonj and Jeff Green facing off, the under might be the only play in this game for me.

Street Meat (-120)
Pinky Toe (-120)

Over 8.5 Goals (-120)
Under 8.5 Goals (-120)

Notes:
On the other hand, like the Baja/Pranksters opener, this game should be another absolute goalfest between two high scoring, defense often optional squads. Street Meat has lost three straight after opening the season with two straight wins (one of them the most lopsided game of the season, a 12-3 decision over Baja) while pink has only one win on the season, a shocking 6-5 comeback win that they won on a goal with eight seconds left in regulation. Tonight they won’t have the better of the Yehudas in the lineup but otherwise should have everyone in. Another coinflip game which might speak for how unpredictable each of these teams are or for how specifically difficult I find Street Meat to rate from game to game. Over is the safest bet.

The UMass Football Team (-2.0 Goals) (-120)
The MilkMob (+2.0 Goals) (-120)

Over 6.0 Goals (-120)
Under 6.0 Goals (-120)

Notes:
Campbell apparently requested to get his first start of the season in this one against his old friends on the Mob. Perhaps all those late night videos were somewhat ill-advised. Then again, the way they played last week, perhaps not. We’ll find out tonight before the first Tuesday night Dorrian’s run in almost six years. See ya then.
