Playoff Week 1 Betting Lines (Summer 2026)

Show Bobs (+2.0 Goals) (EVEN)
Double Teamed (-2.0 Goals) (-145)
Over 8.0 Goals (-145)
Under 8.0 Goals (EVEN)

Notes: Before anyone asks: games tonight are a true 50/50 with rain possibly coming right around 5:00, as is tradition. Will release betting lines anyways because I can’t look at any more radar. Anyways the only reason this line is only 8 goals is that this game will be played with 9 minute periods. If it was a standard 14 minute game I think the total would be something like 12 or 13 considering these teams averaged 6.6 and 7.1 goals against. But in a shortened game and an elimination game, I’m betting there are a few less goals in this one. But still should be a lot and honestly should be a wide open affair either way. The public doesnt seem to think black has much of a chance and although I do think they could win, considering I’m playing in this game I have to go with yellow. 7-4 Double Teamed.

Pink Panthers (+2.5 Goals) (EVEN)
Hockey At Glatt’s (-2.5 Goals) (-145)

Over 8.0 Goals (-145)
Under 8.0 Goals (EVEN)

Notes: Amazingly, this one is even more lopsided than the previous one as for the first time in the history of this poll we have a 100% crowd selection.

Normally this is about when I would tell you about how you should go against the public and 100% of the action on one side is often a harbinger of doom in sportsbetting. But considering how badly Glatt’s has wanted this matchup and considering I’m still trying to look for subs for pink, I actually think it may be justified. 7-3 Glatt’s.

Show Bobs (+700)
Double Teamed (-160)

The Royal Sampler (+110)
Over 8.0 Goals (-145)
Under 8.0 Goals (EVEN)

Notes: Purple is the public choice in the poll but I don’t think they realize just how decimated this roster is.

Carl apparently got hurt last night so Doug is subbing in net while Karly is back in Canada. Meanwhile Luc is out of town as is Amanda, leaving a very short roster to try to make the semis. They did beat down yellow in their lone appearance this season but as Milstein reminded me this morning that was their only game of the season with Jo, Luc and Oskar all in the lineup. If these teams play tonight, give me yellow to pull off the (minor) upset.

Pink Panthers (+550)
Hockey At Glatt’s (EVEN)

Sexual Misconduct (-165)
Over 8.0 Goals (-145)
Under 8.0 Goals (EVEN)

Notes: Possible game of the night here as somehow blue and brown have ended up not just on the same side of the bracket but in an early-ish round matchup. Public finally gets a game that they’re actually split on.

It’s tough to tell if Glatt’s is the public underdog here because of their 8th place standings position, their 0-2 record vs blue this season or their lack of depth. Either way, this is going to be a barnburner of a game and I could really see it going either way. If Glatt’s can get contributions from their 2nd line and 2nd D pair they have a good shot to prevail. I’m still going to favor blue but it’s probably the toughest game to call of all of them.

Show Bobs (+1500)
Double Teamed (+150)

The Royal Sampler (+210)
Attack Of The Pie Pie (-155)
Over 8.0 Goals (-145)
Under 8.0 Goals (EVEN)

Notes: Orange will be rested and ready to go for this one but TBD if we can get this far in the schedule. They will certainly be hoping we do as the next two weeks they start losing players and purple (should they get past yellow) would presumably be gaining players. Yellow would have a better chance here if blue (or pink) win the previous matchup because then they would have Zuck here. If brown wins they won’t have him or Tarnow in the lineup. I think the public is correct to be on orange in this one but I think the yellow and purple percentages should be flipped considering the many absences on purple. That said, should this game be delayed til next week, I think these are probably about right.

PINK/GLAT/SEX (-120)
Red Day (-120)

Over 8.0 Goals (-145)
Under 8.0 Goals (EVEN)

Notes: Red will come into this game fully rested while their opponent will either be on their 2nd or 3rd game of the night. 2nd shouldn’t really matter. 3rd does start to get a little tricky. The public appears to be completely and fully split on this matchup more than any other.

Personal opinion: blue matches up well with red and should be slightly favored if thats the matchup. But if its red vs brown, I think red kind of has the formula and the depth to take down Glatt’s, particularly in their 3rd game of the night.

BOB/DUB/TRS/PIE (+1.5 Goals) (+135)
Merry Pranksters (-1.5 Goals) (-200)

Over 8.0 Goals (-145)
Under 8.0 Goals (EVEN)

Notes: The final game of the night. A 10:20 listed start that will probably really be 10:50 at the earliest and might not even happen tonight depending on weather. The Pranksters are the very strong public option and after another impressive season and another 3rd place finish, it’s justified. Yellow is my dark horse of the night but the Pranksters must be favored and rightfully so. Hopefully we can actually see this game happen tonight. Pray for us.
