Week 3 Betting Lines (Summer 2019)

The Charging Cheetahs (-130)
Goonies (-110)
Over 5.5 (-130)
Under 5.5 (-110)

Notes: #1 defensewoman Carlin and goaltender Dave GDR are out for the Cheetahs; in their place for the early game will be Casca in net and a lady to be named later. The Goonies took it on the chin in week one but will have Max making his D5 debut in net. The Cheetahs meanwhile looked great in week one, with a ton of speed from their young guys and the gritty defense the franchise is known for. With Neil back from a hand injury and Derek making his season debut against the team he won a title with last season, look for red to pull out a tight win.

RONKONKOMA CONDO’S (-135)
The Bayside Tigers (-105)
Over 6.0 (-120)
Under 6.0 (-120)

Notes: Gabe is out of town, Sena is injured, Alex is injured and sick but hoping to play through it, and Kevin and Charlotte are game-time decisions for the Tigers. Ouch. Roman T is subbing in for blue but Ryann cancelled last minute so the identity of their last sub is TBD. The Long Island Homeowners looked great in a 7-2 week one victory and will look to keep rolling this week even without the services of founding member Liz who is looking to diversify her real estate holdings in Atlanta this week. The Fireball Bowl is always compelling theater but with a plethora of injury on the blue side and yellow’s impressive seven goal outburst in week 1, they should be able to take this one and deliver Hicks’ a second bottle of fireball in the last month.

Cleveland Monsters (-145)
My Cup Size Is Stanley (+105)
Over 5.5 (-110)
Under 5.5 (-130)

Notes: Eitan subbing in net for deLacy. Cleveland was rated as the top team both before the season started and after week 1 and I don’t see any reason to doubt them yet. Cleveland’s favorite daughter Morgie and the Monsters to down Ariel & Cup Size.

Stud Puffins (-105)
Green Street Hooligans (-135)
Over 5.5 (-125)
Under 5.5 (-115)

Notes: Casca subbing in place of Jeff for Green; Erica subbing for Rachel for the Puffins. Green established themselves as one of the most balanced teams in a strong week one showing and while orange looked good as well, Probie is on a mission to prove that season one dream season wasn’t a fluke. Hooligans keep rolling.

Stud Puffins (EVEN)
Cleveland Monsters (-140)
Over 5.0 (-120)
Under 5.0 (-120)

Notes: The back half of a season opening home-and-home for two new franchises…the Puffins look good but drew a painful early season schedule, facing arguably the two top teams in their first three games. They’ve got a great shot to win, but the Monsters just look way too balanced. Assuming no major absences for purple (none have been reported thus far), Cleveland starts the season 3-0, an incredibly rare achievement for that city.
