Notes: MelRose will have mens ball hockey and mens weed smoking legend Matt McCracken subbing along with Amanda whose main claim to fame is being called a whore by Jenn at the Spring 2022 end of season party in one of the most rambling speeches ever seen by anyone. Meanwhile blue will have Wes out but Chad/Corey subbing in relief after their D5 debut last week for the Mensches. This is a tough game to handicap; both teams are playing short and the subs are of an extremely high caliber. Total toss-up seems fair for this one as it does for most games tonight honestly. Going to lower the total to 5.5 for the first time all season just because I have no idea what McCracken is going to do but from what I’ve seen at tournaments, scoring on him is not going to be easy.

Notes: Vegas will have Simon in net. I have no idea who the Pranksters will have as Ridzik continues to be randomly MIA throughout the season. He said he was at a church function last night and I am somewhat concerned it ended with him getting crucified or something. In any case if he can’t go Jacob Green will get the EBUG call as he thankfully lives a block away and is always down for some free hockey, as any good Jew should be (I can say this because I’m Jewish, many of you will be cancelled if you attempt to repeat this joke…fairly warned be thee says I). Anyways yes he badly wants the free hockey and he just might get it. Simon will be in net for the Golden Knights but they’ll be missing a good portion of their defensive unit. Once again I am absolutely flummoxed as to how to make this line and what exactly is going to happen in this game. Could really go either way but Vegas won their first matchup and I’m going to continue backing them until further notice (further notice probably being when they play blue on Tuesday).

Notes: MelRose will likely have Simon in net for this one while Hubba gets McCracken, although that is still being negotiated at time of writing . Amanda will stay in the lineup for yellow while pink doesn’t have Stern or captain Kolenberg (Mo wears the C tonight). Pink has had an up-and-down season so far but so has yellow; in many ways, these teams are near mirror images of each other. I could see them beating any team and I could see them giving up 2 goals in 20 seconds to any team. I’m giving pink the edge because they get their pick of goaltender before the game but with Crack and Simon, you really can’t go wrong. Going to raise the total back up to 6.0 because me Simon and Matt are smoking a ton in between games. Giddyup.

Notes: This time Lavender gets the choice of the Simon/McCracken and, with apologies to Simon who is surely one of the best goalies in D5, I think they’re probably going to choose crack as so many unfortunate souls did in the 80s. They will be missing a ton of players, as has been standard for the Llamas this season, but Mo/Jake have been gracious enough to approve Tarnow to sub even though they won’t have Stern in the lineup. Jacob Green will also be subbing for lavender on defense with the final sub TBD. Another game where I’m not quite sure whos playing, and for which team, and also while not knowing what the condition of rink is or who will call out last minute. I wouldn’t mind taking a chance on purple in this one but then again I also wouldn’t mind if you lost your bets. One last fair warning: anyone who misses the Gala will likely regret it for the rest of their lives. See you tonight (and maybe tomorrow).
