On Tuesdays We Wear Pink (+2.0 Goals) (-105)
Merry Pranksters (-2.0 Goals) (-135)
Over 7.0 (-120)
Under 7.0 (-120)
Notes: Sick throwback pic to the time it rained during the semis in 2019, we cleaned the rink and restarted play 40 minutes later. Anyways pink is missing a ton of players, as has been tradition, and for the first time this season won’t have Hilary playing the whole game. This does not bode well against a Pranksters team that plays a highly aggressive style and seems to have great attendance thus far. Whether this super aggressive pond-hockey style will work in the playoffs remains to be seen but as of now they’re averaging the 2nd most goals per game in the league and are 3rd in the standings. Lucky for Kolenberg Gelman is feeling extra generous this afternoon and has given the OK for Tash to sub, but I’m not sure if even that will be enough. Jeff Green will have to really bring his A game to shut them down but considering that he told me he’s not feeling well, I in turn am not feeling great about pink’s chances tonight. Still bullish on the season as a whole but for tonight it’s either Stern scores 5 goals or tie dye pick up the W. Gimme Pranksters -2.

Notes: Purple kicked off their season on Friday night with a doubleheader and it did not go particularly well as they lost both games 5-1. Playing without Liang and Mahoney definitely didn’t help but the issues weren’t just on defense: they couldn’t generate nearly enough offensive zone time to get any type of cycle going, something which I’m sure does not sit well with Jack Global. Their task won’t get any easier tonight against a solid all-around possession team in the Golden Calfs who lost to blue and beat white last week. Getting Liang and Mahoney back will help but they won’t have Rickard and possibly Tony D. Might be another long night in net for Zisser. JGC to win and continue to prove the hater wrong.

Notes: The Pranksters play their 2nd game of back-to-backs against a Bastards team that is scoring a lot but giving up even more. They were able to pick up their first W of the season on Friday night in a shootout but this game will be much tougher against a deep and quick Pranksters team and with Jason Campbell out. Black has been solid in possession and will have Annie subbing in this one because the Gelman mercy tour rolls on but unless the Bastard defense really steps up or they can convince Tom Fitz that the game is cancelled, I don’t think they’ll beat this tie dye team. Pranksters to win; parlay with the over for maximum fun (+135).

Notes: Purple plays their second game of the night against a blue team that won last week’s doubleheader by an 11-4 aggregate. Tonight’s blue lineup is a little up in the air with Emily and Brita as GTDs (Brita trending towards out) and multiple goalies giving me the run around but based on what I saw last week from blue and what I saw from purple, it might be a long night for Jack of not getting the ball and watching blue players squeeze invisible air breasts as goal celebrations. 3 goals is a lot to give though as is 7.5 goals with the lineup totally uncertain. First McQuade special of the season…who knows what will happen, only bet if you’re really a sick degenerate (luckily, this seems to be a large portion of our membership).

Under 8.0 (-120)
Notes: Joe Magosin is out while rookie sensation Mike Pelletier is a maybe. That part does not bode well for yellow. Mel is also in Portugal and will be replaced by Steph of the Pranksters. That part is not so bad. What does bode well for BDE is that they have the speed and finesse to frustrate black and bury enough goals to make this a long night for the Bastards. Still, for some reason I do think this matchup is going to be closer than most people think, even without Jason Campbell. Those are heavy losses for yellow and I actually think it’s often better to be playing your second game of the night. Staying away from the moneyline but probably hitting the over.

Notes: This is the marquee game of the evening, the west coast game, a rematch of Friday night’s barnburner where red led 2-0 early, white stormed back with three straight only for Cherie to tie it just 33 seconds after white took the lead and Cara to win it with just over a minute left. 1st round pick and team leading scorer Tom McGuire is out for the Blancs which certainly hurts a lot but Storer will be making his season debut and they do still have Simon and Satok in the lineup along with a Jackuum motivated to get revenge. With Tom I would have them as a slight favorite. Without, I have this game as a coin flip with the slightest of edges to red.
