Mace Windu (-250)
Beatin’ Meat (+165)
Over 6.0 Goals (-130)
Under 6.0 Goals (-110)
Notes: This is a great opportunity to get Meat at + money which really never happens. But with Mace sitting near the top of the standings and their only loss coming to 1st place red while the maroon start to the season has been a bit uneven, it’s warranted. They beat green, but almost blew a 3-0 lead in that one, lost in a shootout to an elite orange team and lost in an upset to silver. Power rankers still give maroon a lot of respect, as they should for a franchise with a cup, a finals appearance and a Presidents Trophy in 2024, but this is a sneaky big game for them. An upset win would be a statement that they’re still here and still a contender. A loss wouldn’t be a total disaster but would definitely vault purple to legit contender status while raising more questions about the Meat Beatin’ draft strategy this season. There are a lot of questions out there about both teams and quite frankly I don’t think I have the answers. It’s the over for me in a Friday night special.

Over 6.5 Goals (-120)

Notes: Sometimes being short is not so bad, both when you have the confidence of Zisser and when you are missing some players in the lineup but most of your top picks are in. Green will have at the very least Stern, Andrew, Zisser, Brooke and of course Jake which should make for a strong lineup. Fitz will also be subbing in for green while Corey Spec joins a blue roster that features his brother Chad, Jack, Annie and other extremely sexy people. Both rosters are very short but also very solid for this one. I personally rate this one as a total toss-up but have to charge the blue tax to bettors who will likely be hammering the Streakers regardless. Still, tread lightly in this one as it really could go either way.

Notes: Red is missing Goose in this one which is a crushing blow to their win expectation and their guys smoking weed on the bench expectation. Still, though, there’s no way that they can be favored by any less than 1.5 goals at this point in the season as Campbell will continue to be the story until he comes back down to earth and starts playing like a normal goalie. Also not helping maroon’s cause is that Nick is out for this one and Tommy is questionable. They will have the bruiser that is Cardello subbing in, but I’m not sure if that will be enough. Ryan will do his best to go god mode here and put the team on his back, but unless Pete and Lucas are able to bury a few from the point this looks to be a rough one for maroon. Red to cover.

Over 6.0 Goals (-135)

Notes: This season’s edition of the Bad Boy Mowers Pirate Bowl features a teal team missing two top scorers in Satok and Amit and Sonj in relief of AJ against a blue team who will likely be rocking 5 guys, 2 girls and a goalie. I’m not sure how to handicap a contest like that. Blue in theory should be favored, but how will the team play on their back end of a doubleheader with very low #s for both? Similar to the game against green, I could really see it going either way but have to favor the Streakers because not a single person has bet on the rats all season, even when I advised the public that it was the sharp bet on Tuesday. I wouldn’t touch this one with a ten foot pole though; even the over/under is precarious as you have to weigh a defensive powerhouse but shorthanded blue team against a teal team that hasn’t hit an over all season, but it’s still Hicks on a Friday night. The only certainty is that whoever wins this game is going to be bathing in fireball and tequila after the game. And I mean that fairly literally.

Notes: The only thing that stopped this from being the first ever 4.0 goal over/under is the fact that it’s a Friday night and shit tends to get weird, especially in the last game of the evening. Otherwise, even with the red-hot Jeff Green out tonight doing god knows what, we’ve got another elite goalie matchup as Campbell takes on Sonj. Even with Sonj subbing in however, Pizza Rats may be in trouble as they are also missing Satok and Amit, two of their top guys. Against a badly shorthanded blue team, that may not be a huge issue. Against a red team that’s given up one goal in three games, it’s likely to be big trouble. This has the look and feel of a very classic 2025 red win where they score 2-4 goals and the opponent scores 0-1. I’ve seen this movie before and man is it boring. 3-0 Reds. See ya @ Dorrian’s.
