GAME NOTES:
What a weird game this was. At 2-1 Cup Size early in the 2nd period with Hicks’ puppy peeing on the scorer’s table I went to turn the lights on. By the time I got back Wally was passed out and the Pizza Rats had scored three goals in less than four minutes, then held on in the final minutes en route to a big 5-4 win in their season finale. The Rats will finish either 7th or 8th and face either the Stallions or the MilkMob in their playoff opener. Safe to say Wally enjoyed this game even more than the previous one.
THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Jef Feldman (2G)
2nd – Maddy (2G)
1st – Hicks (1G, 2A)

GAME NOTES:
After falling behind 1-0 early in the 1st period, Team Pie Pie reels off five straight goals and picks up the W 5-1. Man that cat was fat. He would usually sleep either in the kitchen or next to the food bowls so there was zero chance of missing any type of feeding situation. It was really something.
THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Matt Bramson (1G, 1A)
2nd – Sophia (W, 1 GA)
1st – Jo Robin (2G)
Talking Reds vs The MilkMob

2nd Period:
RED (1-1) – Oskar (2) (assisted by Nate) (6:37)
RED (2-1) – Len (5) (assisted by Nate) (10:00)

MILK (2-3) – APK (3) (assisted by Yehuda Silverman) (2:30)
RED (4-2) – KG (2) (EN) (unassisted) (13:31)
GAME NOTES:
The MilkMob had this game circled on their calendar for weeks and they certainly played like it here, taking a surprise 1-0 lead into the 1st intermission. But the Reds were able to rebound with three straight goals, then held off a late surge by the Mob to pick up a 4-2 win and solidify their hold on 1st place.
THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Campbell (W, 2 GA)
2nd – APK (1G, 1A)
1st – Oskar (1G, 1A)

MACE (5-3) – Chris Fullam (6) (assisted by Kevin Aylesworth) (11:18)
MACE (6-3) – AJ Frey (!!!) (1) (assisted by Ariel) (kind of) (13:16)
GAME NOTES:
This was a fun game but all anyone will talk about, and rightfully so, is AJ scoring the first goalie goal in league history. Truly electric. Doubles as the weirdest assist of Ariel’s life as, rather than passing the ball to a teammate, AJ basically stole the ball from him to launch his shot at glory. Well worth it…from the league rules page of the website which I’m pretty sure no one has ever visited:
Goalies are not only allowed to cross center ice, but encouraged to do so. First goalie to score a goal will likely receive some sort of prize from the league along with my undying respect.
I now have to update this. But AJ has earned his prize along with my respect…sadly lost in the shuffle is Mel getting two goals, including the game winner. But like I said, no one seems to care. Hate to see it.
THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Yehuda Silverman (1G, 1A)
2nd – Mel (2G)
1st – AJ Frey (Win, Goal, Glory Eternal)
Silver Stallions vs My Cup Size Is Stanley

CUP (2-1) – Lucas (8) (assisted by Mikey) (12:00)
2nd Period:
CUP (3-1) – Manny (1) (assisted by Mikey) (2:50)

CUP (4-2) – Luca Vellon (3) (assisted by Jenna) (11:00)
STA (3-4) – Cherie (1) (assisted by Ryan Kumpfmiller) (12:16)
GAME NOTES:
The last game of the night was silver playing black for the third time this season. The first two were total blowouts. This one was significantly tighter with the Stallions actually holding an early lead and coming pretty close to tying it up in the 3rd, but Cup Size stadium was rocking and their team added an insurance goal by Luca Vellon with three minutes left, then held on for the win which, after a disastrous start, throws them right in the thick of a crowded playoff race. Jenn’s boobs celebrated at Dorrian’s where they were no doubt motorboated by various locals. Big night.
THREE STARS OF THE GAME:
3rd – Ryan Kumpfmiller (1G, 1A)
2nd – Luca Vellon (1G, 1A)
1st – Jenna (1G, 1A)
