Week 3 Betting Lines (Summer 2025)

The Mighty Ducks (-2.0 Goals) (-200)
Silver Stallions (+2.0 Goals) (+140)
Over 7.5 Goals (-120)
Under 7.5 Goals (-120)

Notes:
The Stallions lost both games on Tuesday night but both losses were better than they appear on paper. 7-3 to blue looks bad but it was a tie game late in the 2nd and blue was the consensus top team in the preseason power rankings. The game against purple, they were violently shorthanded (albeit with a few strong subs in tow) but came back from a 3-0 deficit to tie the game at 3 late, only for Caleb to bury the game winner with just a few minutes left. The wins haven’t been there yet but the team has looked pretty competitive. Unfortunately tonight they’re badly shorthanded again and facing a Ducks team that is currently perched atop the league standings. I don’t think that’s going to last throughout the season but they have certainly been impressive out of the gate. Have no choice but to make the Ducks the favorites here but Stallions would be a sneaky pick to cover. Definitely taking the over in the Friday night special though.

The MilkMob (-1.5 Goals) (-170)
Silver Stallions
(+1.5 Goals) (+125)
Over 7.0 Goals (-120)
Under 7.0 Goals (-120)

Notes:
This game matches two teams who are looking for their first win but both looked solid in their openers on Tuesday. MilkMob will be missing a bunch of players similar to silver, including both Nick and Merone, but the Hicks Friday night meatwagon game cannot be discounted. For those new to the league, every season there’s at least one Friday night where Hicks plays against a shorthanded team and singlehandedly wins the game by scoring 3-4 goals. There’s usually a lot of yelling and probably a shirt removal involved as well. I’m betting this is that game for the Summer. MilkMob to win.

The Pie Pie Strikes Back (-120)
Purple Nurple (-120)
Over 7.0 Goals (-120)
Under 7.0 Goals (-120)

Notes:
Two more shorthanded teams as this looks to be the bare minimum lineup size of 7 guys, 2 girls per side. There are currently some sub negotiations going on along with a few GTDs for orange that make this game almost impossible to project. Line is shut down until I can figure out who’s even playing in this game but I did rate Pie Pie as a top 3 team before the season and I’m sticking with it, especially if Ken can make the game.

Fertilizin’ Eggs (-1.5 Goals) (-200)
The MilkMob
(+1.5 Goals) (+140)
Over 6.5 Goals (-135)
Under 6.5 Goals (-105)

Notes:
MilkMob is getting some kind of sub for this game but I have no idea who it will be. Egg seems to be mostly full and have their big 4 + Sonj in for this game. With Merone and Nick out of action, that’s probably enough for them to win, although the MilkMob leadership team of Jordan/Milkman/Hicks/KG will do all they can win the league’s first ever Dairy Bowl. I like their spirit but I’m not sure if it will be quite enough. Egg by two.

Fertilizin’ Eggs (-2.5 Goals) (-320)
Slime Time Live (+2.5 Goals) (+200)
Over 7.0 Goals (-120)
Under 7.0 Goals (-120)

Notes:
The late Friday night special. Green is apparently missing like all their top picks and while Joe Mosk will make his first sub appearance on his brother Max’s team, it is looking like it might be a painful one for Slime Time. Unless a bunch of Egg players mysteriously disappear before gametime, this one might be a romp. Yellow to win by 4. See ya @ Dorrian’s.
